NORTH PHOENIX SINGLES CLUB CALENDAR
The North Phoenix Singles Club is a group of men and women over the age of 50,
who are widowed, divorced, or never married.
We are a social singles club, whose purpose is to meet people,
enjoy ourselves, and have fun!
We meet on the first, third, & fourth Sundays of the month, at 1:00 p.m., at
Elks Lodge #335, 14424 N. 32nd St., Phoenix 85032
A few examples of the types of activities that we schedule are:
House Parties, Potlucks, Social Hours, Trips, Dances, Bowling,
Game Nights, Movies and the Theater . . . and so much more!

Sat. 1 - 7 pm - COMEDY NIGHT SPECIAL at Mountain View Recreational Center, 2927 E Campbell Ave. Only $5! Be there early so we can sit together. To BJ's Restaurant afterwards, 32nd St. & Indian School, SW corner. Host: Barney.
Sun. 5 - Noon - 1 pm - Socialize with friends before the meeting. 1:15 pm - SINGLES CLUB MEETING at Elks Lodge - All are welcome to eat lunch at the Lodge for a minimal fee. Happy Birthday to everyone born in November. This is the Sunday we celebrate your special day with cupcakes and a birthday gift. We hope you can attend.
Tue. 4,11,18,25 - Noon - SENIOR BOWLING at Sunset Bowl, 12th Street just south of Dunlap (East side of street). No Host - if you don't bowl, join the fun and be our personal cheerleaders.
Thu. 6 - 7 pm - Glendale Library - Paul McDermand Steel Band at 5959 W Brown St. Paul has performed percussion instruments for
19 years. Tonight he will perform on his steel drums and marimba. Host: Janis

Sat. 15 - 10 am-2 pm-Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar at 1500 W. Maryland - Free admission. No Host.
Sat- 14 7 pm - Evening Honoring Veterans at Elks Lodge, 14424 N 32nd St - Dance to the Blues Brothers. Pulled Pork Sandwiches with all the fixin's available for $6. Host: Lenny.

Wed. 19 - 6 pm - STEAK DINNER at Elks Lodge, 14424 N. 32nd Street. Grill is ready; you cook your own entree from a choice of steak, chicken, pork chop, or salmon. Dinner includes baked potato, salad, rolls & butter, plus fresh fruit. Desert is extra. Price varies depending on meat choice. Host: Andy.

Fri. 28 - 5 pm - Glendale Glitters Light Show - Meet in front of Haus Murphy Restaurant, 5739 W Glendale Ave. The exciting stage
show counts down to the lighting ceremony on Friday evening, beginning at 6 p.m. You won't believe your eyes as you take
in the stunning display of 1.5 million lights illuminating twelve blocks of Historic Downtown Glendale, plus multiple stages of entertainment, food, hand-crafted holiday gifts, horse-drawn carriage rides, charming shops and one-of-a-kind boutiques.

- Guests are welcome to attend three meetings and/or activities. After that you must join or refrain from attending NPS.
- Please sign up for the activities you would like to attend and if you must cancel, notify the host
- Please tip the servers no matter where you are. It is most appropriate to tip the Elks & American Legion (volunteer) bartenders.
- December 13 - Annual Christmas Dinner/Dance - Catering by Bill Johnson's Big Apple Restaurant, $20, at Jean Covic's Clubhouse.
