While many dancers refer to it as 'Fatcats', the Fat Cat dance club is actually the Fatcat Ballroom & Dance Company.

Fatcat is located at, 3131 E. Thunderbird Rd. Suite 33, Phoenix, AZ 85032, located in the Safeway Shopping center on the SW corner of 32nd st. and Thunderbird rd.; right next door to Walgreens. They have group lessons, private lessons, and dances several times per week. So you can learn to dance like a pro in no time at all.

From Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz; to Cha Cha, Rumba, Bolero, Salsa, Mambo, Swing, Hustle...they can teach you what you like to learn whether you are a beginner looking to be able to go out dancing and have fun; or if you are an experienced ballroom dancer looking to improve style and techniques.

The Fatcat website contains pictures of the gorgeous new dance floor and the facilities. The place looks huge and it's my guess that this will soon be one of the best places to dance in the Phoenix area.

Perhaps this will change later, but as of 2008, their website is advertising $5. Fatcats Group Classes and Parties!
