Unity of Phoenix is an inter-denominational church based on the practical teachings of Jesus Christ.

The main sanctuary holds about 700 - 800 comfortable padded seats. There is a projection and sound room in the back on the second floor that captures everything on stage and directs images onto large screens. This means you'll have a good view of the stage no matter where you sit. The quality of the sound is excellent. You can hear the speaker comfortably whether he or she is speaking loud or barely whispering.

Everyweek a different musician or singer visits to compliment the existing music department. A big church like this is able to attract some of the best talent. Between the speaker and the music, services are entertaining, educational, and emotionally uplifting.

Sermon topics at Unity tend to focus on 'unity' or connection with people and all living things. If you love listening to Wayne Dwyer, Tony Robbins, Depak Chopra and other great contemporary teachers as well as the teachers from ancient times, you'll love listening to Unity sermons. They are very positive and practical. They show us how we can create happiness and love in all aspects of our life. As Rev Maraj says, "Unity is a Christian Church. However instead of focusing on the original sin, we focus on the original blessing, which is that we are all created in the image of God." Since we are all equally created in the image of God, we share his ability to create and love. The church teaches unconditional love for ourselves and everyone, even those who are challenging to be around.
